Our highly skilled team of expert doctors, nurses, therapists, and healthcare professionals uses the latest in medical technology to help our patients achieve their goals. Through customized therapy plans and careful attention to the needs and abilities of each patient, we help our patients achieve the highest level of independent function possible.
Physical Therapy
Reducing pain, restoring function, and preventing injury are the primary goals of our licensed physical therapists. We use many different techniques and a state of the art gym to help our patients achieve optimal results. Through therapy and exercise, our programs can assist with gait training, bed mobility, and wound care.
Respiratory Therapy
A person’s pulmonary system may become compromised as a result of many factors: pneumonia, asthma, trauma, or a multitude of others. When that happens, especially in someone who may already have a weakened immune system, Respiratory Therapy may be required. While sometimes, it is as simple as administering breathing treatments, it can be as serious as providing life sustaining support if the lungs become too weak to work unassisted. To assist with and administer Respiratory Therapy, we employ round-the-clock, certified Respiratory Therapists. We also maintain a 23 bed sub-accute Trach and Vent Care unit to assure our patients receive the personalized care necessary to their health and well-being.
Occupational Therapy
When daily functionability becomes an issue, due to an illness or injury, Occupational Therapy can be necessary. Whether it is learning a new way to brush their hair, shower, or any other daily skill, an injury or illness can impair a person’s ability to effectively accomplish even the simplest of tasks. Our Occupational Therapists work with our patients to help them develop the skills they need to return home and regain their independence.
Speech Therapy
After a stroke, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological trauma, patients can have difficulty speaking, swallowing, or develop other cognitive communication disorders. Speech therapy involves learning to control facial muscles and regular communication through guided practice.
Activities Program
A positive and uplifting atmosphere is vital to the success of healing, recovery and rehabilitation. Country Villa Belmont Heights Healthcare Ctr employs outgoing and friendly professional staff to create social programs and activities to fit the residents needs. We provide a monthly activity calendar to each resident to keep them informed of upcoming events. Friends and families are always welcome to visit and attend our special events.
Social services provide essential information, manage requests and concerns, coordinate appointments, maintain contact and open communication between the facility, families and the residents, and helps in care planning and discharge planning for each patient.
